What difference will it make?

Blah - if a potential customer walks past and you say nothing - you won't get any business.

If you hit them with a reason to come and see you - they will.

As people walk and drive past your business give them a reason to come in and buy. If they're already in your store then give them to reason to actually buy (and not leave empty-handed)
